Hamed has more than a decade of experience in designing, executing, and managing large-scale and innovative intervention solutions that support the improvement of civil society and human rights in closed societies. Hamed has played a key role in design, development, and distribution of multiple mobile-first solutions providing hundreds of thousands of users with access to information and news. His innovative solutions have allowed secure communication and exchange of ideas amongst activists and human rights defenders, crowdsourced reporting of government corruption, and measured and circumvented censorship practices in hostile environments. A former journalist, producer, and a staunch advocate for freedom of speech and press, Hamed has designed and implemented numerous training programs for journalists, citizen journalists, media freedom advocates, human rights defenders, and civil society activists in closed societies; he has personally trained or led training initiatives for Netizens on digital safety, media freedom, story telling, and advocacy in hostile environments.

Soudeh is an activist and researcher in France. As the co-founder and president of Spectrum, a French NGO, Soudeh designed, managed and created various platforms and tools to empower the marginalized communities, including websites on gender based violence, digital hygiene, and the only Iranian app for women’s rights and health. Soudeh’s primary focus has been activism and advocacy in LGBTQI and gender equality issues. They have led numerous successful campaigns and is a recognized figure in the women's rights and LGBTQ advocacy community.

Allison worked previously for the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration with the Office of Multilateral Coordination and External Relations. Additionally, she was a fellow for the Elsie Hillman Civic Forum where she developed an outreach plan focused on implementation of public health programming meant to target vulnerable urban populations. Allison is a graduate of the Graduate School for Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh and holds a master’s degree in Public and International Affairs focusing on Human Security.

Renee is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds a master’s degree in International Political Economy. She focused her research at the LSE on Public-Private Partnerships in the MENA region. Formerly based in Beirut, she studied Economics at the American University of Beirut where she also practiced on the Archery varsity team, and she interned at the Ministry of Economy and Trade and the Ministry of Environment. Renee’s current work and interests lie in supporting civil society groups in closed societies, anti-corruption movements and economic development.
